Why counselling at Wellspring?
Mental health affects everyone and people come to counselling for many different reasons. You might be feeling anxious, want to make changes in your life or need more support. It could be from a recent experience or it may have built up.
Counselling at Wellspring can help:
- Give you the space to talk and explore what you're experiencing in a safe and confidential setting
- Support you through times when you might be struggling
- You understand your story, identify the roots of problems and how it's affecting you now
- Help you find healthy coping strategies that work for you
- Develop long term ways of looking after your mental health to move forward
Helen Breakwell MBACP (BACS hons, DPS)
I am a fully qualified counsellor with over 600 hours of client experience. As a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I follow their ethical framework.
As an integrative counsellor I work with a variety of methods (from cognitive behavioural therapy to relaxation techniques) and go at your pace. I have worked with a range of clients for over 5 years and I try to make sure that all my clients are comfortable, feel listened to and understood.
I have personal experience of bereavement and adverse life experiences. I understand that life can be tough sometimes and it's important to have support to help adapt to change.
I believe that talking therapies and making steps to improve your mental health, can make a big difference to your life now and in the future.
